Wanfeng Forest | The Only Place Where Peaks Form a Forest
It's a 20-minute drive from the hotel to Wanfeng Forest via Culture Road. The parking lot fee is around 10 yuan, as I recall.
Wanfeng Forest Scenic Area mainly features cone-shaped karst peaks and peak clusters. The scenic area contains various geological heritage landscapes such as karst caves, sinkholes, underground rivers, and swallow holes. It has been rated by National Geographic as one of "China's Five Most Beautiful Peak Forests." The entrance fee is 70 yuan, free for Guangdong Province residents, and the ticket is valid for 5 days with unlimited re-entry.
If you want to visit the Peak Viewing Path in the scenic area, you'll need to take a sightseeing bus or walk. The sightseeing bus ticket costs 50 yuan with fixed viewing platform stops. After enjoying the view, you can board at the next stop. Only from the Peak Viewing Path can you overlook the entire Wanfeng Forest. You can cycle in the countryside area and rent electric vehicles or bicycles at designated locations.
