The Qinghai snow leopard cub "Ling Xiaomang" officially debuts

Recently, the Qinghai Wildlife Rescue and Breeding Center shared great news: the rescued wild snow leopard cub "Ling Xiaomang" has officially met the public. Snow leopards live on the snowy plateau at altitudes of 3,500 to 5,000 meters, with gray-white fur covered in black spots and rings, perfectly camouflaging among rock piles, making their movements mysterious. As top predators of the mountains, their main prey includes blue sheep and northern wild goats. However, illegal hunting and habitat destruction have caused their population to decline sharply, with only 4,000 to 6,500 individuals remaining worldwide, classified as a "Vulnerable" species. In China, snow leopards are strictly protected, and conservation efforts have been notably effective. Come visit in person—you might just encounter the "King of the Snowy Mountains"!
