This guesthouse hides a real hot spring, letting you enjoy the slow life in the ancient city

Stay in a treasure guesthouse in Xinzhou! This Dongshengquan Zuoyouke really perfectly blends the "old soul" with modern comfort～🏮

✨The location is amazing!
Right next to the Xinzhou Ancient City Wall, just a 5-minute walk to the ancient city night market. After watching the ancient city light show at night, strolling back to soak in the hot spring is simply wonderful! It’s only a 15-minute taxi ride to Xinzhou Station, and parking is convenient if you drive.

🎓A renovation full of historical vibes
The guesthouse, converted from an old school, retains old architectural elements like blue brick arches and wooden beams. The front desk even displays the old school badge and textbooks. The corridors are filled with black-and-white old photos, and every corner is great for photos with a vintage feel～ Don’t forget to bring a qipao or hanfu for a retro photoshoot!

🛏️Room experience is top-notch
We stayed in a private hot spring room, and the highlight is the hot spring pool, which is directly tapped into an underground natural hot spring. After soaking, your skin really feels smooth (tested and proven). The mattress is moderately firm, and after a soak, you fall asleep instantly and sleep soundly till morning.

🌶️Nearby food and sightseeing guide
• Ancient city snack street, 5 minutes on foot: recommended are buckwheat noodle bowls and Baode fried cakes
• Xiurong Academy, 10 minutes on foot: a Ming Dynasty ancient building complex, perfect for hanfu photos
• Qicun Hot Spring, 15 minutes by taxi: if you find the guesthouse pool small, you can go here for a bigger soak

💡Useful tips
1. The private hot spring is disinfected by the staff before each use, so you can soak with peace of mind
2. The guesthouse offers free hanfu experience (advance reservation required)
3. During peak season, remember to book rooms with private hot springs at least 2 weeks in advance
4. In winter, it’s recommended to choose a south-facing room for more warmth

Spending guesthouse money but enjoying hot spring hotel facilities, this is really worth it! The view from the guesthouse rooftop when the Xinzhou Ancient City lights up has already become one of my most unforgettable travel moments this year～
