Yamadera in Yamagata｜A serene energy spot perfect for solo travelers.

Yamadera is a top choice for solo trips 🧘♀️. Although it has a thousand stone steps, they are surprisingly easy to climb. The scenic views along the way, combined with the fresh air, help calm the mind 🍃. The locals are very friendly, and there are stalls at the foot of the mountain selling peaches and snacks 🍑. It's a good idea to recharge with some food before starting your climb.

Once you reach the top, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire Yamagata area—totally worth it! There’s also a souvenir shop on the mountain where I bought a cat-shaped keychain 🐾. It’s both adorable and practical ❤️. This trip was truly a journey to recharge the soul ✨.
