Golden Ocean—Hanzhong Rapeseed Flower Sea

The Hanzhong Rapeseed Flower Sea, located in Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province, is one of China's most famous rapeseed flower viewing destinations. Every spring (March to April), hundreds of thousands of acres of rapeseed flowers bloom across the Hanzhong Basin, creating a magnificent "golden ocean" that attracts many tourists and photography enthusiasts.
Hanzhong boasts over one million acres of rapeseed flowers, covering Hantai, Nanzheng, Yangxian, Chenggu, and other districts, forming a vast, continuous expanse. The flowers are at their most vibrant from late March to around the Qingming Festival. Annual events include folk performances, photography contests, and cycling activities. Visitors can also enjoy farm stays, fruit picking, and handicraft workshops.
