If you're traveling to Hailing Island, stay here

Hailing Island is really not suitable for special forces-style travel where you just take off on a whim. There are unexpected pitfalls everywhere💣Here's a summary of my experiences:
-

💯1. When visiting Dajiao Bay, pay attention to the opening hours. The opening hours vary between peak and off-peak seasons, so confirm in advance to avoid a wasted trip.
💯2. Don't buy bundled high-priced combo tickets. You won't have time to do many of the activities anyway. It's more cost-effective to buy individual tickets as needed.
💯3. If you want to go fishing at sea, arrive at the boarding point at least 30 minutes in advance. The boat won't wait for you, and if you're late, you'll miss it, and the fee won't be refunded.
💯4. Don't buy souvenirs in the small shops in the seaside scenic area. The prices are too high.
💯5. When visiting the Mangrove National Wetland Park, you can enter from the North Gate🌳, which is closer to the bird watching platform and makes it easier to enjoy the scenery.
💯6. Go to Agile Golden Coast to watch the sunrise🌅and Mawei Island to watch the sunset. The scenery is stunning, so don't mix up the locations.
💯7. Washa Bay Beach is relatively less crowded, with fine sand, so I recommend checking it out for photos.
💯8. Some of the marine park attractions are quite thrilling, so those who are timid or not feeling well can skip them.
💯9. Zhapo Old Street is too commercialized and lacks character. It's fine for a stroll, but don't expect too much.

💯10. Be sure to take a ride on the island sightseeing bus🚍. The scenery along the way is super beautiful, and you can see a different side of Hailing Island.
💯11. 📸The cliffside pool at Beiluo Secret Realm is a great place for photos. The azure sea water and infinity pool make for stunning pictures!
💯12. Go to Hailing Dam in the evening to watch the sunset. The shimmering light is beautiful. Take a leisurely stroll for about 1 hour, and wear comfortable shoes.
💯13. During holidays, driving to the scenic area can be really congested, and parking spaces are hard to find and expensive, so I recommend taking public transportation.
💯14. Food Guide
🥢Qiongda Fermented Grain Vinegar: The fermented grain vinegar hot pot base is sour and spicy, which is especially appetizing. Be sure to drink a sip of the soup first. It's so refreshing and sour and spicy, I love it. Everything tastes good in it.
🥙Grandma's Coconut Chicken: A coconut chicken hot pot that's recognized by locals and lined up for by out-of-towners. It's a restaurant you could visit 8 times.
🍯Gui Ba Mian Mian Bing: A cotton-like texture that's dense and silky smooth in your mouth, and it comes in a variety of fruit flavors! A perfect summer treat!
These restaurants are all highly rated.

Accommodation recommendation: Poly Q District
🔔The beach and sea are right outside🏖. You can walk directly from the villa garden to the beach🏝, which is only a minute or two🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️away. It's so convenient!🏡🌊
🌟Highlights: 🏡Private villa + 🏊‍♂️swimming pool + 🎤KTV + 🍢charcoal grill + 🀄️mahjong + 🍳self-service kitchen, and it also thoughtfully provides 🥪breakfast and 🍰afternoon tea! It's only a 🚶‍♂️1-minute walk to the beach, which is so convenient~
