Cross Path Garden is located in the ancient city of Qianxian, Huangshan, in a quiet place called Pan Village, close to Xidi and Hongcun, which are known as World Cultural Heritage sites. The surrounding area is full of green mountains and rice fields, while inside, there are winding garden paths and quiet courtyards, presenting a vivid pastoral picture.
Design
The homestay is located at the beginning of a traditional village, with only a winding path leading to it. The six buildings and courtyards rebuilt on the old site seem to have grown from ancient times. The combination of buildings of various ages and styles tells different historical stories, forming a hidden architectural art treasure in the rice fields.
Rooms
There are 16 uniquely designed rooms scattered among the courtyards, with each window offering a view of the green mountains and fields. The interior decoration combines Eastern elegance with Western simplicity, with a touch of Turkish style. Most of the rooms on the ground floor have private courtyards or pools, while the rooms on the second floor have balconies overlooking the surrounding mountains and rice fields.
Facilities
The swimming pool is cleverly hidden in the old house, providing a quiet haven. The farmhouse shop, open to the public, offers some local specialties and cultural and creative products. The surrounding campsite is located in the rice fields, suitable for camping and picnics, outdoor play, outdoor afternoon tea, and bonfires in the fields.
Surroundings
The surrounding area is full of attractions with Oriental classical aesthetic design, such as Shouzhuo Garden, Nanping Ancient Village, and Bishan, all of which are worth visiting. It is only 20 minutes away from Xidi and Hongcun.
