Visit Xidi Village in Anhui Province, a town with a 1,000-year history dating back to the Northern Song Dynasty.
Xidi Village is a tranquil, uncommercialized village, perfect for a stroll away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Many magnificent buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties remain, and you can tour them. Many of the buildings have been inhabited and preserved by generations of descendants.
