Xidi Nights🌙

Visit before May 2025. If you identify yourself as a Taiwanese compatriot, you can purchase a half-price foreign guest ticket to enter the park for just 52 yuan (this promotion seems to last until the end of 2025, but it's uncertain if it will continue next year).
The entire village feels less commercialized compared to Hongcun, and there are fewer people, but it's still convenient with food and drinks available. I particularly liked a fried chicken stall near the entrance.
During the day, the traditional Anhui-style architecture is quite beautiful. There's a hill behind the village, and climbing it offers a great view of the entire village.
However, the light installation art in the fields at night is rather baffling. Honestly, it feels a bit out of place and detracts from the overall experience.
