Taiwan really has many beautiful places. Located on the mountain in Jiaoxi, Yilan, adjacent to the Wufengqi Waterfall Trail, this trip was just to explore Matcha Mountain #ig check-in spot

The mountain road is very easy to walk on and not very difficult. Many people walk on it even in jeans. About 4 kilometers of flat road + 1.6 kilometers of stairs, it takes 4-5 hours.
But I still have some suggestions.
1. Choose better non-slip shoes, as gravel roads are slippery
2. Be sure to have a trekking pole! Assists you in climbing stairs
3. There are rest stops, but you still need to bring enough water! I drink 800cc very sparingly. Small snacks and nuts are necessary. Many people will eat instant noodles at the top of the mountain, so you may also consider bringing some.
4. The earlier you start climbing, the better. Don’t arrive later than 10 o’clock, because it is easy to be foggy and you can’t see the Matcha Mountain, you can only see the white wall. My hours are 9:00-14:00 for your reference.

When you really get to the Our Lady Hiking Trail, that’s when the hard part begins, with stairs all the way... but the top of the mountain ⛰️, it’s really worth it! The scenery is so beautiful, it was a bit foggy the day I went, which was a pity. The ridgeline is still clear and you can still see the magnificence of the mountain. On the other side, you can also see the Lanyang Plain, which feels like it is extending out.
