This is the second time I've come up empty-handed. The first time it was under renovation and this time it was closed due to the epidemic. The entire Cold Spring Park was empty with only our family of four. That was fine, since there was no one around, we just walked around. Su'ao Cold Spring is located in the slate area of ​​the Central Mountain Range. The main geology is metamorphic rock. Su'ao Cold Spring is a calcium bicarbonate spring with a water temperature of about 22°C. It contains carbon dioxide that seeps out from the shale layer under the surface and was used to make marble soda in the early days. In addition to this cold spring in Taiwan, there are also cold springs in Beipu, Ruili, Dagangshan, Kaohsiung and several other places, and the other one is Venice, Italy. The only two cold springs in the world are in Taiwan and Italy. It seems like we have no chance to visit this cold spring. I wanted to bring my kids here to soak their feet but things didn't go as planned. I don't know when we will be able to come here again. (20210817)
