Address: No. 155, Houhai Road, Jinfeng District, Yinchuan City
Transportation: Drive to the hotel, free parking for guests. There are a moderate number of parking spaces, so you may need to look around if the hotel is full.
Check-in experience:
The price is very good if you book in advance for the holidays. I had never been to the northwest before, so I planned a long holiday trip around the hotel. The hotel is located in the CBD area of Jinfeng District, and it is very pleasant to take a walk at night to visit the China-Arab Axis, enjoy the night view, and take photos. It is also very close to Lanshan Park or Yuehai Lake from the hotel, which is considered to be on the side of Lanshan and Yuehai.
I used a suite voucher before check-in and was upgraded to a 100㎡ Executive Deluxe Suite. The living room, bedroom, and two bathrooms are fan-shaped. The exterior of the hotel has a bit of a castle style, and the residential buildings behind it look a lot like Galaxy Bay. The public areas of the interior are decorated with a lot of white marble, and the main bathroom walls are gray and white stone with black lines on the floor. The overall decoration is above the Sheraton standard, and the modern French style has a bit of a Ritz-Carlton flavor. The entrance to the executive lounge is open, and there are a few small round tables on the stairs by the wall where you can have coffee and read magazines, and the photos are very nice. The standard size pool is not crowded and the water is very clean. The row of soft couches by the pool has a vacation atmosphere, and the width is just right for lying down and resting.
The food is a major feature of the hotel, with local specialties for breakfast or happy hour in the executive lounge. Lamb offal soup, dragon fruit pancakes, and spicy cold noodles. The desserts are well made, taste good, and look very lively.
