2 hrs drive from Shanghai/Nanjing/Hangzhou, or take the high-speed train to Yixing Station and transfer to the tourist line (there are direct buses to Forest Park/Bamboo Sea/Shanjuan Cave).
Tips:
Combo tickets are more cost-effective! Shanjuan Cave + Bamboo Sea combo ticket is CNY 130. Make a reservation in advance to avoid queuing~
Wear comfortable shoes! The karst cave is humid and the bamboo sea requires non-slip shoes for hiking. Wearing Hanfu/Zen clothing at the health market will make for better photos!
