Fort Vredenburg Museum

The Fort Vredenburg Museum is located in the heart of Yogyakarta, within walking distance to Malioboro Street, making it super convenient.
Originally a Dutch colonial military fortress, it was later converted into a museum that mainly showcases Indonesia's history from colonial rule to independence.
Inside, there are many 3D models and historical photos with detailed explanations, and the air conditioning provides a cool escape, making the visit very comfortable.
For Taiwanese visitors, the history of resisting colonialism resonates deeply. The building itself is also quite beautiful, featuring a strong European colonial style.
