Sarushima is the only uninhabited island in Tokyo Bay and the largest natural island in the bay.
The remains of the former Japanese military's artillery and fortress remain, and the entire island has been designated a "national historic site"!
The ferry terminal is about a 15-minute walk from Yokosuka Chuo Station on the Keikyu Line.
It's only a 10-minute ferry ride to Sarushima.
From March 1st to October 31st, there is a ferry leaving once an hour from 9:30 to 16:30, making it very convenient!
◯For those who live outside Yokosuka
Admission fee: Adults/500 yen, Elementary and junior high school students/250 yen
Boarding fee (round trip): Adults and junior high school students/1500 yen, Elementary school students/750 yen
◯For Yokosuka residents
Admission fee: Adults/250 yen, Elementary and junior high school students/130 yen
Boarding fee (round trip): Adults and junior high school students/750 yen, Elementary school students/370 yen
*Free for one child under elementary school age per adult
(If the number of adults exceeds the number, the elementary school student fee will be applied for the number of children)
You can explore the island in an hour,
and enjoy fishing and BBQs on the beach while watching the sea✨
It's cool even in the middle of summer, so it's very comfortable! It's relatively well-maintained and attracts a lot of tourists, so it's easy for women and children to walk there♪
Come and make some summer memories here 𓂃𓈒𓏸
