
The Mangdang Mountain Cultural Heritage Tourism Area in Yongcheng City is located at the junction of Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu, and Anhui provinces. It borders the Beijing-Kowloon Railway to the west, the Beijing-Shanghai Railway to the east, and the Longhai Railway to the north. The Lianhuo Expressway, known as the Eurasian Continental Bridge, runs through it. The area covers 12 square kilometers and encompasses four scenic areas and 30 tourist attractions. Mangdang Mountain boasts a long history and a wealth of cultural relics, including Confucius's shelter, the Confucius Temple, Chen Sheng's tomb, Zhang Fei's stronghold, and the Han Emperor Gaozu's Snake-Slaying Monument.
The most breathtaking tomb complex of the Western Han Dynasty, the Liang State Mausoleum, features a complex structure carved into the mountain and carved into the rock to create a storage space. Its grandeur and grandeur resemble a vast underground palace, and it is a nationally protected key cultural relic site. The 210-meter-long tomb of the Queen of King Xiao of Liang is the largest stone chamber mausoleum discovered in China to date. Unearthed from the Han tombs are numerous artifacts, including murals, a jade garment with gold threads, gilded chariot and horse equipment, cavalry barrels, and exquisite jade artifacts. These artifacts are truly rare treasures and artistic gems, possessing high historical, artistic, and scientific value.
The magical Monument to Emperor Gaozu of Han's Snake-Slaying Uprising, illuminated at night, reveals the towering, majestic figure of Liu Bang, a truly remarkable sight. Hanxing Garden, a tourist attraction built to commemorate the Han Dynasty's 400-year-long uprising by Emperor Gaozu of Han, showcases Liu Bang's achievements in rebelling against the Qin Dynasty and establishing the Han Dynasty. It systematically showcases the Han Dynasty's glorious 400-year history and the merits and demerits of successive Han emperors.
Located west of Mangdang Mountain, the Fuzi Mountain Scenic Area commemorates Confucius's shelter from the rain during his travels. Though small, it is the only mountain in China named after Confucius. Since ancient times, countless visitors have flocked to Fuzi Mountain to explore its history, leaving behind numerous famous poems and legendary stories. Key attractions within the Fuzi Mountain Scenic Area include the Confucian Temple, Guanyin Pavilion, Confucius's shelter from the rain, Guo Tower, and two Han Dynasty tombs.
