Zanpa Cape, Okinawa's most stunning sunset viewing spot.

Located at the westernmost point of Okinawa's main island, Zanpa Cape boasts breathtaking scenery with its towering cliffs and the iconic white lighthouse—the only lighthouse in Okinawa that visitors can climb. From the top, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the rugged cliffs below, especially during sunset when the scene resembles a beautiful painting.

Zanpa Cape is situated in Yomitan Village in the central part of Okinawa's main island. The cliffs, which rise 30 meters high and stretch for 2 kilometers, are a famous tourist attraction and a paradise for local fishing enthusiasts. On clear days, you can even catch a glimpse of the Kerama Islands from Zanpa Cape.

The white lighthouse, standing at approximately 31 meters tall (equivalent to a 10-story building), is a symbolic landmark of Zanpa Cape. Visitors can enter the lighthouse for a fee of ¥300.
