Cape Zanpa Lighthouse - Climb the 99 steps to enjoy the spectacular cliff view

Cape Zanpa Lighthouse is located in Yomitan Village, Nakano-Yomiya Village, Okinawa Island, Okinawa Prefecture! Cape Zanpa Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in Okinawa. It was put into use in 1974. It is 30 meters high and is the only lighthouse in Okinawa that can be climbed to the top.
Cape Zanpa is located at the westernmost tip of Okinawa Island. It is the best place to enjoy the sunset. You can also see the 30-meter-high cliffs that stretch for 2 kilometers!
The pure white Cape Zanpa Lighthouse is very eye-catching. The base of the lighthouse is a small museum that introduces the history of Cape Zanpa Lighthouse!
There are 99 steps to climb up to the lighthouse. The stairs are narrow and high, so it takes some physical strength! Climb to the top of the tower and you can overlook the Kerama Islands from Cape Zanpa, feel the sea breeze, and enjoy the sunset and beautiful sea view. It feels so relaxing!
