Nanchang Nanputing is located in Donghu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. With Nanputing as its center, it is located to the south of Tengwang Pavilion. It is a small and unique garden on the green belt along the river in Nanchang City.
When Wang Bo wrote "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng," "flying clouds over Nanpu" was already a famous sight, hence the line "Painted beams, morning clouds fly over Nanpu." Ancient poets have sung of Nanpu Pavilion. Tang Dynasty attendant Bai Juyi's "Farewell at Zhongling" reads, "A sad farewell at Nanpu, the west wind rustles with autumn breeze. One glance breaks my heart, beautiful clouds, never let them go." Southern Song Dynasty poet Wen Tianxiang's poem "Climbing Nanpu Pavilion" reads, "I've climbed this path several times in half a lifetime, my wanderings like snow filling my hairpin. I'm unaware of the late spring at Nanpu, and only feel the first gloom on the western hills. Who will pity the turtles and cranes' thousand-year-old tales, their empty hearts filled with the roc's boundless love? Countless old friends, the rain falls outside the curtains, and the deep night feels like spring in Guangling."
It has a subtropical monsoon climate and is located in the Tengwang Pavilion scenic area. On the right side of the Tengwang Pavilion, there is a whole courtyard. The Tengwang Pavilion Pier also passes through here. There are about ten pavilions and towers. It is adjacent to the Ganjiang River and is suitable for travel in all seasons.
It is a slightly larger pavilion, connected to the main building by a corridor. Although the Tengwang Pavilion is crowded with tourists, it is shaded by the Tengwang Pavilion, making it suitable for sightseeing.
It is recommended to play for about 2 hours.
