1. Exploring the Suji branch of Myeongtae Insaeng
🍲 Atmosphere & Waiting
I visited around 1pm, a little after lunch time, and there were about 2 groups waiting in front of me.
My friend said, “I guess a lot of people go to Kodari (codfish stew) restaurants these days.” We were seated right away!
🔥 Menu & Taste
• Spicy Codfish Stew (Codfish Stew) 18,000 won per person – 1 per person
• Squid Stew is also a popular menu! It’s spicy and full of the scent of fire
🍱 Self-service side dish buffet
• Fried food (chili pepper, zucchini, sweet potato) is freshly fried and crispy!
• Unlimited refills of salad, vegetables, acorn jelly, pumpkin porridge, kimchi, and plain rice!
“The self-bar has plenty of hot fried food, and the rice is also unlimited refills, so I plan on visiting again.”
“Chili fries, zucchini fries, sweet potato fries… Freshly fried and warm, 5 refills!”

2. With a full stomach, let’s head to the Folk Village 🌄
After about 20 minutes on the road, we arrived at the Yongin Folk Village (Korean Folk Village)!
The entrance fee is about 15,000 won for adults, and the 270 or so real houses perfectly recreate the atmosphere of the Joseon Dynasty. .
📸 Things to see
• 270 traditional houses, cultural spaces where you can experience firsthand
• Performance & experience corners: Blacksmithing, dyeing, Seowon, ferry, folk games, etc., recommended courses galore
• Scenery full of seasonal feelings: The moment you cross the wooden bridge and feel the wind and sunlight, healing itself!
