[Totsukawa Village] Enjoy French-inspired forest activities at the secret "Sky Village" deep in the mountains of Nara!

The Sky Village is a forest activity facility located in the 21st Century Forest Kii Peninsula Arboretum. 🌳 It's one of my favorite places, and I recommend it for family trips or drive dates. ☺️

⁡ It incorporates popular forest leisure activities from France and Europe, with a net suspension bridge spanning the trees, allowing visitors to enjoy an aerial stroll 4-12 meters above the ground. ☁

⁡⁡ The netting was imported from France, and was created by Jolan, a French immigrant to Totsukawa Village, working with engineers from his home country, from weaving the net to the final product. 😲⁡

⁡ Because it's handmade, the playground equipment undergoes minor changes every day, so you'll never get bored, no matter how many times you visit. 👌 Of course, the wood used for the platforms and other structures is sourced from Totsukawa Village. 🌳

You're free to spend your time however you like. I love bouncing around, drinking coffee, reading... I love taking a nap in a rocking cradle bed 😪 Let's spend a relaxing time deep in the mountains ✌️⁡

Also, since last July, our accommodations have been open 🎊 There are four types of bases: treehouses, aerial tents, transparent domes, and aerial hammocks. If you're not a fan of the floating feeling, we recommend the treehouses or domes 🙆♀️

Each one is scattered throughout the forest, making it feel like a secret hideout. At night, the lights come on, creating a dazzling atmosphere ✨️ The swaying trees and the babbling brook will help you sleep soundly 😴

There's also a bonfire area for each group 🔥 You're welcome to bring your own equipment, but there are plenty of amenities available (for a fee), so you can still enjoy the experience empty-handed. Since it's a lodging-only option, be sure to bring your own food! ️

WiFi is available, so it might be a good place for a digital detox. 📡 The entire route is on a national highway, so access is great! However, the last section, Route 425, is just a forest road, so drive safely. 🚗
