Just 3 hours away from Wuhan, there lies a secluded ancient village with no inhabitants. | I never
expected that during the crowded May Day holiday
I would find a deserted ancient village just 3.5 hours' drive from Wuhan and only 1 hour from Yichang city center

The ancient village is backed by mountains, surrounded by greenery, and inhabited by the descendants of the Pang family.
Most of those who remain in the village are grandparents, and the village still retains ancient wells from the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are farm dishes in the village, as well as homestays. If you have time, you can stay for a night.

It doesn't take long to walk through the whole village, but it's worth savoring carefully.
The hot summer is coming soon, and it's also nice to come here to escape the heat. There are also opportunities to pick fruit nearby.
