This small onsen ryokan cannot be considered a luxury, but it is indeed a cozy and dainty place. There are only eight rooms which means less people sharing the communal Hot Spring, so I was all for it.
The surrounding neighborhood is also very peaceful and the ambience is serene and friendly. This property is perfect for couples or solo traveler’s, or even small families. The location is also quite convenient, just a 15 minute walk from Yufui station but a bit difficult to walk with your luggage, so I recommend asking for the free shuttle provided by the property. However, the operating hours are short and you need to book it in advance.
The room is minimalistic, but immaculate and relaxing. The communal hot springs are open 24hours and the private family one is also free but need to book it when you check in.
The food they serve is truly excellent. If you’re a foodie, you will be satisfied. Highly recommended!
