Blue Moon Valley (蓝月谷) is one of the most breathtaking natural sites in Lijiang, Yunnan Province, China. It’s famous for its turquoise-blue waters, cascading terraces, and stunning backdrop of snow-capped mountains — a place that looks like it came out of a fantasy movie.

🌊 What Is Blue Moon Valley?

Located at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山).

Named "Blue Moon Valley" because it resembles a blue crescent moon from above and due to the vibrant blue color of its water.

Locally known as Baishui River (白水河) — meaning "White Water River."
