First lesson of the new school term! Move the classroom into the nature of Yunhe🍃
The back-to-school season has arrived. Bring your kids to Lishui Yunhe and use nature as the classroom to unlock a different kind of "first lesson of the school year"~ Today, the editor recommends four great places for family outings, a perfect guide for parent-child trips👇
❶ Yunhe Terraced Fields Scenic Area
🚶🏻♂️Route: Terraced Fields Visitor Center 👉🏻 Jiǔqū Yúnhuán (Nine-Bend Cloud Ring) 👉🏻 Qīxīngdūn Viewing Platform (Seven-Star Mound) 👉🏻 Kēnggēn Shízhài (Kenggen Stone Village)
🏠 Terraced Fields Visitor Center: The first floor houses the Terraced Fields World Museum, where you can learn about terraced fields in China and around the world; the second floor features a 9D flying theater with naked-eye 9D immersive experiences, offering a variety of films like "Moon Landing Project" and "Escape from Dinosaur Island."
🌾 Jiǔqū Yúnhuán: Walk along the farming trail, teach the kids about crops, and become little farmers for a day.
☕️ Qīxīngdūn: The highest point in the scenic area, offering views of the entire Yunhe terraced fields. Enjoy a terraced field view drink at the Cloud Café, and the cloud swing at the entrance is perfect for parent-child photos.
💦 Kēnggēn Shízhài: Follow the stream deep into Kenggen Stone Village, walk on the bluestone path, explore the century-old silver mine ruins, listen to the roaring waterfall, and enjoy a cool, shaded parent-child hike.
❷ Anxi Children's Literature Village
🎬 Mobile Children's Theater: Regular monthly performances, the whole village is a stage, and children can sign up to participate, immersing themselves in the fun of "script murder" games.
🍐 Yunhe Snow Pear Culture Exhibition Center: Experience a digital four-season pear orchard, and kids can create AR paintings.
🎨 Yunhe Fairy Tale Art Museum: Exhibits original picture book manuscripts by artists.
📒 Children's Literature Library: A great place to read, with nearly a thousand books including works by famous authors like Ye Shengtao and Tang Tang.
📝 Literature Exchange Center: Hosts themed sharing sessions and author meet-and-greet events from time to time.
💃 She Ethnic Folk Museum: Learn about the history, customs, and traditional crafts of the She ethnic group and experience the unique charm of She culture.
❸ Wooden Toy Fairy Tale Town
📷 Photo Spot: The chocolate-colored castle looks like an oversized building block toy, very dreamy and perfect for photos.
🙌 Wooden Toy Study Base: DIY your favorite wooden toys with tools and wooden parts, guided by teachers, letting kids become "little craftsmen."
🎮 Trendy Market: Buy Yunhe’s special wooden toys to take home.
❹ Changting Beach
👧 Kid’s Paradise: Ultra-fine artificial white sand beach + clear lake water, kids can dig sand, build castles, and have water gun battles.
🤳🏻 Photo Hotspot: Backed by green mountains and facing Yunhe Lake Reservoir, every shot looks like a masterpiece, especially the stunning sunset glow in the evening.
🔥 Must-try Experience: Lakeside camping and outdoor BBQ, perfect for weekend short trips.
📝 Small Tips
🚗 Transportation: Self-driving is the most convenient! From Lishui High-Speed Rail Station → rent a car and reach in 1.5 hours; travel time between spots is short.
🛏 Accommodation: In the terraced fields scenic area, the Daocao Grass Meets Jigsaw Hotel is recommended, like a children's playground; in the city, you can stay at the All Seasons Hotel located in the Fairy Tale Castle.
🧥 Gear: Creek shoes, sun hats, mosquito repellent, water guns + sand digging tools.
The beauty of Yunhe lies in "slowness." Every lesson in nature is a limited edition of childhood💚
