This time, I unlocked a hidden gem in Yuxi – Luzhi Town in Yimen, which is simply a time-traveling photo paradise! Half of it is a vibrant sea of phoenix flowers in full bloom,

and the other half is an industrial retro town where time stands still. The best part is it's uncrowded and free, and every casual shot looks like a blockbuster📸

🔥Must-visit highlights:
1. Phoenix Flower Sea: May-June is the best viewing period. The entire river valley is dyed red, and even your hair shines when you walk under the flowering trees (remember to wear light-colored dresses for better photos).
2. Industrial Heritage: Old factory buildings, Soviet-style office buildings, open-air cinemas, and slogan walls from the 70s and 80s are all well-preserved, brimming with nostalgia.
3. Observation Deck: A superb spot to overlook the entire valley, capturing both the sea of flowers and the industrial landscape in one frame (navigate to "Luzhi Park" to get there).

📍Transportation Guide:
It's recommended to drive and navigate to "Luzhi Town". It's about a 1.5-hour drive from Yuxi city center, with incredibly scenic winding mountain roads along the way. For those without a car, you can take a bus towards Yimen from Yuxi Bus Station.

🏨Accommodation Recommendation:
Highly recommend Yaste Hotel (No. 109 Coral Road), just a 5-minute walk to Nie Er Square Night Market! We stayed in an Executive King Room for just over 300 RMB, and the room came with a smart toilet and a projector. The rooftop laundry room also offers panoramic views of Fenghuang Mountain. Most importantly, the location is super convenient; you can go downstairs in the evening and feast on all sorts of snacks~

⚠️Practical Tips:
• There are only a few small restaurants in town, so it's advisable to bring your own snacks.
• The best time for photos is before 9 AM / after 4 PM.
• Some buildings in the industrial area are old and in disrepair; please be careful when taking photos.
• Don't forget sunscreen! The plateau's UV rays will teach you a lesson in minutes.

This off-the-beaten-path route I discovered truly amazed me; the blend of industrial hardcore style and natural flower sea is absolutely stunning! Go before it gets too popular~
