I arrived by train and was instantly enchanted by the crisp mountain air and charming chalets. Hiking the Five Lakes Trail was a highlight—each lake reflecting the peaks like a mirror. The Gornergrat railway ride delivered panoramic vistas I’ll never forget. Evenings were cozy, with fondue by the fire and strolls down Bahnhofstrasse.
