Zhanjiang

The first breakfast in Zhanjiang was incredibly delicious! The Manfeng Hotel (Zhanjiang South Railway Station Branch) where I stayed is located right below a food street, and I was tempted awake by all the wonderful aromas at 8 AM 😋

🏨 Accommodation Tips:
Manfeng Hotel is located in the Zhanjiang South Railway Station business district, just a 3-minute walk to the South Station Square.
The hotel opened in 2023, the facilities are very new, and it offers great value at around 200+ RMB per person.
The front desk thoughtfully provided a nearby food map 🗺️
It’s only a 10-minute drive to Jinshawan Seaview Promenade.

🌅 Next Day Itinerary:
7:00 | Buffet breakfast on the 2nd floor of the hotel (the freshly cooked beef brisket noodles are amazing)
8:30 | Head straight to Jinshawan Beach, fewer people in the morning, perfect for photos
10:00 | Visit Fishing Port Park to watch fishing boats set out to sea (hat recommended for sun protection)
12:00 | Return to the hotel for a nap

🍲 Must-Try List:
✔️ "Chen Ji Beef Offal" next to the hotel (5-minute walk)
✔️ Signature seafood porridge at "Rong Ji Oyster Chicken Pot" (1.8 km away)
✔️ Seafood stalls at "Fishermen’s New Village" opposite Jinshawan

Tips:
1️⃣ It’s recommended to choose a south-facing room for excellent lighting and a view of the neon night scene at South Railway Station.
2️⃣ The front desk offers free beach mats and sun umbrellas for borrowing.
3️⃣ Hotel parking is free for guests, very convenient for self-driving tours.
