Travel with books, the Zhaozhou Bridge of more than 1400 years

Zhaozhou Bridge is located above the Xiaohe River in Zhao County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It was built during the Sui Dynasty and has a history of over 1400 years. It is the earliest existing and largest single-hole circular-arc open-shouldered stone arch bridge in the world. In 1961, it was selected as one of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Since its completion, it has been used as a major thoroughfare until it was discontinued in 1984 with the construction of Zhaozhou Bridge Park.
