Today I visited Yaying Building in Duanzhou District, Zhaoqing City! 🏛
This Gothic-style building built in the 1920s exudes a sense of mystery. Yaying Building is the only building of this style in Zhaoqing area and is well-known for its unique architectural design and luxurious appearance. In particular, the exquisite Roman stone columns, stained glass windows and sculptures of flying eagles add unique charm to the building, making it a symbol of local history and culture. Yaying Building was listed as a cultural relic protection site in Zhaoqing City on December 31, 2010, further highlighting its unique architectural value.
Walking into the Yaying Building, it feels like entering a world full of history: the exterior walls made of washed stone craftsmanship, the unique Roman stone columns and stained glass windows create a strong European style. The sculpture of an eagle with spread wings on the roof is the highlight of the entire building, while the lion sculptures on both sides make it even more luxurious.
This visit to Yaying Building gave me a deeper understanding of the architectural style that combines Chinese and Western styles, and left me with unforgettable memories and touching moments. ✨🦅🌆
