The autumn scenery of Xiata is just too beautiful! I had the entire scenic area all to myself.

In mid-September 2021, I took a bus 🚌 from Yining to Xiata to see the rarely mentioned autumn colors of Xiata. The staff at the scenic area all told me, "Xiata is most beautiful in summer when wildflowers are in full bloom." They seemed to feel sorry that I had traveled so far only to arrive at a less ideal time. But I think the autumn 🍂 Xiata is even more worth it! Although there aren’t wildflowers everywhere, the grasslands are vibrantly yellow, the forests are lively green, and the snow-capped mountains are purely white... Without the noise of tourists, Xiata becomes the Xiata of herders and their cattle, sheep, and horses, as beautiful as a hidden paradise ⛰️
