Tea Fields Forever: Wandering Through Long Jing Village

#chinatravel So I spent a chill afternoon strolling through Long Jing Village in Hangzhou and honestly, it was way cooler than I expected. This place is like tea heaven. Everywhere you turn it's just rows and rows of lush green tea bushes, and the vibe is super peaceful. I didn't really know much about Dragon Well tea before this but now I'm low key obsessed.

There are a bunch of small family run tea houses where they let you taste their freshest batches and explain how they handpick the leaves. One dude even showed me how they roast them in these giant woks by hand. Like what. Also the views from the hilltop paths are insane. You can see the whole West Lake area from up there.

It wasn’t packed with tourists either which made it feel more local and relaxed. If you're ever in Hangzhou and want a slow paced day with awesome scenery and free tea samples this place is totally worth it.
