I stay here every time I go to Putuo!

New Year and Spring Festival are approaching! I believe that many people will choose to go to the Buddhist holy land of Putuo to pray for good luck in the new year! I have been to Putuo for no less than ten times. I would like to share with you the travel guide for eating, staying and traveling in Putuo.

Day 1. Arrive at Zhoushan: Zhoushan has an airport but not many flights. If there is a suitable flight, you can choose to fly directly to Zhoushan. If there is no suitable flight, it is recommended to fly/high-speed rail directly to Ningbo. There are buses to Zhoushan right outside Ningbo Airport, and it takes about 2 hours to get there.

If you arrive late on the same day, a more economical way is to stay one night in Zhoushan. We recommend a fast hotel near Zhujiajian Wharf as a transit point. You can check out and take a boat to Putuo early the next morning.
