New Yuanming Palace 🌺

We visited New Yuanming Palace on a clear morning, and the moment we stepped through the grand archway, it felt like we were walking into a memory reimagined 🌿🏯The pavilions, bridges, and gardens echoed the elegance of the original Yuanmingyuan, yet everything here felt fresh and open, nestled between quiet hills and wide reflecting pools. The lake shimmered under the sun, and willow branches dipped softly into the water as we wandered along the paths.

What we loved most was how detailed and calm the whole place felt. We crossed arched bridges, lingered by carved stone railings, and watched koi swim beneath lotus leaves 🐟🌸 Classical music played faintly near a pavilion, and a few people were sketching under the shade of trees. It wasn’t just a replica it felt like a space for pause and imagination, where the past and present met gently. A quiet, beautiful retreat with space to breathe and dream 🕊️
