National Day family trip to Dongjiang Lake, staying in a riverside villa is amazing

Winning effortlessly with my husband and kid during National Day! In the Dongjiang Lake villa, I dreamed of the misty Dongjiang and the scent of osmanthus flowers🌫️

Who understands! During National Day, not wanting to be in crowded places but still wanting to take the kid to see beautiful scenery, we discovered this "Wuxiang Dongjiang Villa Inn" at Dongjiang Lake, which is simply legendary!

The moment we opened the door, we were struck—the 270° floor-to-ceiling river view window faces Xiao Dongjiang directly. The family room we booked has the "best viewing spot" welded right at the head of the bed! Every morning, no alarm needed, we were awakened by the thin mist drifting in the morning light. The kid lay on the bed pointing outside and screamed, "Mom, look! It's a fairy walking!"🌁 No need to squeeze into scenic spots or plank roads; wrapped in blankets, we could enjoy the healing scene of mist clearing and boats arriving. Every photo taken with the phone is wallpaper-worthy, and a nine-grid post on social media is not enough!

Even more surprising are the two osmanthus trees in the yard! National Day is just the peak blooming period, and when the wind blows, the whole yard is filled with the sweet scent of osmanthus, with a faint fragrance even inside the room. We picked osmanthus flowers and chased butterflies with the kid in the yard, and the owner even gave us homemade osmanthus honey, soaked in Dongjiang Lake spring water. The kid drank two big cups~

The family-friendliness is maxed out! The atmosphere in the room is also fantastic! The owner helped us book a fishing boat to cast nets (if you book in advance, you can choose a spot near the shore so the kid can see clearly). At night, we sat on the terrace chatting, enjoying the light show of Dongjiang’s famous suspension bridge, looking up at the stars, with the sound of Dongjiang’s flowing water in our ears—100 times more comfortable than squeezing into popular scenic spots! Staying at this guesthouse also lets you enjoy a night tour of Binghe Dongjiang Bay right at the door (the first drift of the southern ice river flower boat bamboo raft).

I sincerely recommend families with kids lock in this place! No rushing schedules, no crowds, turning the National Day holiday into a slow and healing time—this is what a family trip should be like~
