This upgrade fully stacked the scenic buffs! The river view room I booked comes with extra-large floor-to-ceiling windows + smart curtains. No need to squeeze onto the No. 2 viewing platform in the morning; you can be awakened by the thin mist flowing into the room while lying in bed. Opening the window reveals fishing boats in an ink-wash painting-like scene, every snapshot is atmospheric and cinematic, no need to learn composition at all.

In the evening, sit for a while on the newly added viewing terrace, brew a cup of Dongjiang honey tangerine tea, and watch the sunset dye the lake surface. The evening breeze is full of fresh negative ions, a hundred times more comfortable than air conditioning.

It’s only a 15-25 minute drive to Feitian Mountain, Gaoyi Ridge, Bailang Little Erhai, and the must-drive Mahuangqiu Grand Canyon Road[Car].
