For these two scenes, I went to Xiapu

A long time ago, I was shocked by a photo of a beach full of fishing rods.
Then I learned about this place called Xiapu.
Knowing this small county located on the southeast coast of China,
It has the largest tidal flat in China.
I know the most beautiful places in China from the perspective of this photographer.

Many years later,
Finally arrived in Xiapu,
But the weather was not good this time.
Photography is really about light.
The gloomy sky,
I can only adjust the colors and produce the film in the style of ink painting.

Two points worth photographing:
📍 Shajiang S Bay: The graceful lines formed by numerous bamboo poles inserted into the mudflats are arranged in an orderly manner on both sides of the "S"-shaped harbor waterways, forming a perfect mudflat landscape. During the kelp harvest season, ships come and go busily shuttling between the S-shaped shadows of the poles, making the already beautiful harbor even more colorful and the rhythm of the ink painting even more beautiful and prominent.
📍Nanwan Oracle Photography Spot: This is a magical spot. Whenever the tide goes out, the Wen Weir and the seawall emerge from the water little by little, forming a wonderful pattern that resembles oracle bone inscriptions and a maze on the sea. It is a wonder on this mudflat. In addition, the colorful nets used to raise crabs locally have formed a unique mudflat landscape that is like a dream. If you are lucky, you can also see white-fin dolphins here.

Tips to avoid:
❌ Xiawei Island: The photos on the Internet have a heavy filter. The most important thing is that if you want to take a picture of the cave, you have to climb over the fence and climb the rocks, which is quite dangerous.
❌Yangjia Creek (Big Banyan Tree): The old farmer has to pay to pull the cattle, the morning fog is artificially created, and the model’s appearance fee is 300.

I think the biggest highlight of this trip is actually the seafood in Xiapu. It is cheap, large and delicious. The authentic seafood stalls are the reason why I will come to Xiapu again!
