A Wooden Fairytale with Mountain Views

#summervacay Exploring Drvengrad feels like stepping onto a movie set, because, well, it kinda is! This quirky wooden village was built by director Emir Kusturica for his film, and now it’s just chilling in the mountains like some rustic little fairytale town.
Everything here is made of wood, houses, fences, even the church, and it’s got this cozy, handcrafted look that’s super photogenic. The streets are named after artists, musicians, and random cool people, which is fun to notice as you wander. There's also a cute cinema, a few cafes, and amazing views of the surrounding hills.
It’s not a big place, but the vibe is strong, peaceful, artsy, and just a little eccentric in the best way. Perfect for a slow stroll, snapping pics, or sipping coffee while pretending you’re in an indie film.
If you're in the Zlatibor area, Drvengrad is totally worth the detour. It’s weird, wonderful, and full of charm you won’t find anywhere else.
