From October 1st to October 8th, there will be different exciting fireworks performances every day, breaking your perception that fireworks can only be enjoyed at night.

At exactly 5 PM daily, the first cluster of fireworks will burst through the sky, using the clear blue sky as a canvas, with golden, crimson, and bright blue sparks stretching and falling among the clouds. When night falls, the real highlight is just beginning. The millennium-old intangible cultural heritage craft "Iron Flower Beating" will make a stunning appearance. Artisans scoop up 1600℃ molten iron with iron spoons and strike it vigorously on wooden boards, instantly splashing thousands of golden sparks that can reach over ten meters high, like meteors falling on terraced fields or a golden waterfall pouring down.

A tri-environment fireworks symphony on water, land, and air

The night at Wujiangzhai is a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. As the heat from the Iron Flower Beating performance fades, the "Water and Fire Dance" on the river takes over. Performers stand on the river, igniting fire pots that draw graceful arcs, with red flames colliding with the green waves of the Wujiang River, outlining the stilted buildings.

The most anticipated part is the tech fireworks segment, where 300 drones and fireworks machines ascend simultaneously, sequentially forming shapes like "Silver Wave Falling Leaves," "Waterfall Meteor," and "Gate of Time and Space," blending ancient cultural poetry with modern dazzling effects.

Beyond fireworks, Wujiangzhai offers even more exciting experiences waiting for you. You can join a mass choir singing "My Motherland and I," expressing love and blessings for the country on National Day night; or participate in the "Three Thousand Lanterns Night" event, releasing thousands of Kongming lanterns together, watching the orange lights rise one after another, connecting with the stars in the sky and the lights on the ground.

During the day, you can try traditional crafts like making flower and grass paper, crafting flower lanterns, and dyeing cloth with plants, or take a rowboat ride on the river to enjoy the scenery of stilted buildings and lush green mountains on both sides.
