On a whim, I decided to take the high-speed train to Longnan, Ganzhou, to start a relaxing journey🍃
The valleys of Longnan are exceptionally tranquil, so quiet you can almost catch the low chirping of autumn night insects and the subtle sound of the breeze brushing past the old walls of the Hakka walled village😌

The Hakka walled village, built with blue bricks, stone, lime, and tung oil, remains sturdy despite the passage of time. The plum blossom patterns on the walls and the carved pomegranate and dragon designs on the beams showcase a unique charm in the vast countryside❤️

Staying in Xipo, I really liked the classical elegance here.
The beautifully shaped yet understated round arch doors, exquisite hollowed wood carvings, and handcrafted woven furniture exuding a natural and rustic vibe🔥

Here, everything returns to the essence of the architecture itself, allowing one to feel the original and ancient Hakka culture, radiating a local beauty that blends harmoniously with nature😍!!
🚄 Departing from Dongguan, it takes about 1.5 hours by high-speed train to Longnan East Station, then about a 10-minute drive to the accommodation next to the walled village⚠️
