The Zhangyuan Han Dynasty Tomb, located in the middle of Weiwu Avenue in Bozhou City, is one of the Cao family tombs. Excavated in 1989 , it comprises 11 chambers , including the front, middle, back, and side chambers , all built with rope-patterned bricks. The east-facing tomb door is a stone structure, with the lintel, doorframe, and door panels adorned with stone carvings. The lintel features carvings of dragons and tigers, meant to ward off evil spirits and protect the tomb.
Most of the tomb chambers have domed roofs, with a few featuring arched vaults. The chambers are connected by arched vaults. Due to repeated looting, few burial objects remain, with only jade pigs, pottery jars, and other artifacts unearthed during cleaning. In November 2000 , the tomb chambers were repaired and reinforced, with the addition of a replica of the Han Dynasty's Heng Hall and surrounding walls, making it another tourist attraction in Bozhou City.
