Introducing Grape Valley
The Turpan Grape Valley Scenic Area is located in the Huoyan Mountain, 10 kilometers northeast of Turpan City, Xinjiang. It is a canyon about 8 kilometers long from north to south and about 2 kilometers wide from east to west. Because various fruits and trees are scattered throughout the valley, it is known as the "Hometown of Grapes in China", "Hundred Flowers Garden" and "Hundred Fruit Garden".
The Buyiluke River flows through Grape Valley, which is surrounded by streams, primarily fed by snowmelt from the mountains. Grape trellises line both sides of the stream, cascading vines in layers, creating a lush green landscape. Surrounding the valley are dense poplar forests, dotted with flowers, plants, and fruit trees. Farmhouses are neatly arranged on the gentle slopes. Wandering amidst a sea of grapes, you'll marvel at the wonders of nature and its uncanny craftsmanship.
