Yang Zhongyou Stone Painting Art Museum is a unique white three-story building with a total construction area of 2,600 square meters. It is elegant and quiet. Chinese stone painting art was founded by Mr. Yang Zhongyou.
Military stone painter Yang Zhongyou, formerly the director of the 150th Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, has been creating stone paintings both domestically and internationally since the mid-1970s, using natural marble slabs as his base, adapting to their natural textures and employing unique techniques. He has created exquisite Chinese landscapes. Yang Zhongyou has both discovered and recreated the beauty inherent in stone. His work, incorporating the stone's texture and incorporating human touch, allows viewers to appreciate both the natural beauty and the breadth of human vision and wisdom.
Upon entering the Yangzhong Stone Painting Art Museum, the first thing you notice is the inscription "Outstanding, Unique," carved into the iron-red Zhihu stone. A prominent sign in the first-floor exhibition hall announces the exhibition's purpose: "Promoting a harmonious culture and interpreting Laozi's philosophy." The first and second floors showcase over 150 stone paintings and dozens of calligraphy works interpreting the Tao Te Ching. Each piece is imbued with creativity, exuding a natural aura and the charm of Chinese culture. They are truly unique and distinctive, imbued with poetry and reason, and imbued with a sense of purity, harmony, elegance, wonder, righteousness, and grandeur.
