Introducing Mingao Terraces

The Ming'ao Rice Terraces are located in the Yongjia Mountains in southern Zhejiang. They are the largest terraced fields in Jiangnan, excluding the Yuanyang Rice Terraces in Yunnan. Comprising the Zhengshan and Ming'ao Rice Terraces, they are a designated terraced field photography base by the China Photographers Association.

Wenzhou has a mid-subtropical monsoon climate zone, with significant alternation between winter and summer monsoons, moderate temperatures, distinct four seasons, and abundant rainfall.

All seasons are suitable for visiting, but spring and autumn are the best.

Mingao Terraces are roughly divided into six points. Point 1 is in Waixu Village, and the best shooting location is on the hillside north of Mingao Village; Point 2 is in Mingao Village, and the best shooting location is along the road sign to the pavilion on the top of the mountain; Point 3 is in Nanshan Village; Point 4 is in Zhengshan Village, and the best shooting location is on both sides of the road on the hillside north of Zhengshan Village; Point 5 is in Zhengshan Village, and the best shooting location is at the south entrance of the village, namely Tianzhongtian; Point 6 is in Zhengshan Village, and the best shooting location is on the hilltop west of Zhengshan Village
