Changqiangou is located in eastern Chishui, approximately 20 kilometers northwest of Xishui. The scenic area encompasses Changqiangou and China's Cedar King, and is connected to the Tian'e Land Scenic Area. Most of the area remains pristine, with forest vegetation covering approximately 95% . The saying, "Mountains are a screen, need no painting; waters are a harp, need no strings." The picturesque beauty of nature, the green sea and red cliffs, are enchanting, truly reflects this place.
Changqiangou stretches from the 22nd to the 35th kilometer point of the Mahe Highway, about 13 kilometers long. It is surrounded by peaks, with green mountains and red rocks, like a natural gallery connecting two different climatic zones. The southern end is about 1,000 meters above sea level, and the northern end is about 400 meters above sea level .
There is no severe cold in winter and no scorching heat in summer. In early spring, azaleas are in bud at the foot of the mountain, while the mountains are covered with snow. The scenery in the scenic area changes with each season, and the weather changes endlessly.
