Introducing Guizhou Qixingtan

Qixingtan Lake originates from the Tanshan Spring. The spring water gushes out from Qilin Cave to the main gate of the park, forming seven pools. The names of the pools are taken from the seven stars of the Big Dipper, namely: Yaoguang Lake, Yuheng Lake, Tianquan Lake, Tianji Lake, Tianxuan Lake and Tianshu Lake.

The Yangliu Well and the White Elephant Spring by the pond are clear and sweet; over the pond, willow trees are shrouded in mist, and an arched bridge with carved railings stands. Lotuses bloom in the pond, and fish swim and play. Monk Chisong once praised it in a poem: " That is the water of the secluded stream of Tanshan Mountain, blending with the smoke and the moon to the front stream . "

The Qixingtan Scenic Area is a landscape painting with green mountains and clear streams, cascading mountain springs and waterfalls, rugged rocks, lush forests, dotted with mountain flowers, birds singing in the valleys, monkeys crying in the secluded streams, stone cliffs and rock formations, and different views in all seasons.
