Introducing Zhaogong Temple

Located on South Street in Qingyan Town, the Zhaogong Temple was built during the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty. Funded by the local people of Qingyan, it was constructed in his memory. On either side of the gate are inscribed "Golden Soup Pillars." "Golden Soup" symbolizes the impregnable Qingyan City, a place as solid as a rock. The pillars symbolize Qingyan's commitment to culture and its cultivation of talented individuals for the nation.

The ancestral hall covers an area of ​​1,600 square meters and has a construction area of ​​923 square meters. It consists of a mountain gate, a passage, a hall, two wing rooms and a main hall. To the east of the ancestral hall is the Wenchang Pavilion, and to the south is the Qingyan Academy.
