
Jian Shu's Tomb, located on the shores of beautiful Qianling Lake, can be seen about a hundred meters up a lush forest path. Surrounded by towering ancient trees, the tomb offers shade. The tomb's owner is Jian Shu, a pioneer of the Xinhai Revolution in Guizhou, who led the Dafang people in an armed uprising to overthrow the Qing Dynasty and establish the Dafang Military Government.
The stone tablet in front of the tomb is engraved with the six words " Tomb of Jian Gong Mengping " . There are two steles on the east side of the cemetery: one is the " Memorial Tablet for the Reconstruction of Jian Shu's Tomb " , inscribed by Wang Yuanjing, director of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Kuomintang, and the other is the " Biography of Mr. Jian Shu " .
