The Changpoling Ancient Post Road is located in the Changpoling Forest Park. According to research, it has existed since the early Ming Dynasty. It is a section of the post road from Guiyang to Sichuan. It is now well preserved, about 1.5 meters wide, and paved with brown-green stones.
It is said that the car of Zhou Xicheng, the first governor of Guizhou Province, was carried by people along this road to Guiyang. As you walk along this road, you will see the pedestrians carrying loads on their shoulders and sweating as they trudged along, and the caravans with bells ringing and loaded with goods. You will feel nostalgic and sigh at the changes in the world.
