If you're looking for a convenient place to stay on your last night in Boston, there are several great options in terms of hotels that offer parking and are within walking distance of major attractions. Given that you're arriving from Scotland and will be staying for just one night, choosing a hotel near the downtown area will give you easy access to the sights without much hassle. Below are some suggestions for places to stay, with parking and walkability in mind:

  • InterContinental Boston – Located along the waterfront, this hotel offers both valet and self-parking options. It's a short walk to the Boston Common, the Seaport District, and the Freedom Trail. Perfect for strolling around before your flight.
  • The Westin Copley Place – In the heart of the Back Bay, this hotel is surrounded by shopping, restaurants, and historical sites. It offers a parking garage and is only a few minutes walk from the Boston Public Library and Fenway Park.
  • Hotel Commonwealth – Also in Back Bay, this boutique hotel offers valet parking and is close to Newbury Street, one of Boston's most iconic shopping streets. It's also well-positioned for sightseeing around the Fenway area.
  • Boston Marriott Long Wharf – A great option near the waterfront with fantastic views. It's close to the North End, Boston Harbor, and the Freedom Trail. The hotel offers parking, and you’ll be able to take a relaxing walk along the harbor.

All of these hotels are centrally located and should allow you to park the car with minimal stress, so you can enjoy your last day in Boston exploring the city's major attractions. Whether you're in the mood to walk along the Freedom Trail or browse the shops on Newbury Street, these places provide both convenience and comfort. You can also enjoy a leisurely meal at one of the many nearby restaurants.

Lastly, if you're planning to visit more distant attractions, public transport options like the T are easily accessible from these hotels, so you won’t have to worry about traffic or parking.
